The Birth Machine is a sculpture by H.R. Giger that addresses the issue of the approaching overpopulation of the planet. In 2013 we worked with Giger’s agent, Leslie Barany, to produce a high-quality 360º product scan of the soon to be released Birth Machine Baby Head Ring. We have since created 360º Scans of the full H.R. Giger Jewellery collection.

We also experimented with various 3D scanning techniques. However, due to the highly reflective surface, the results where quite rough—to say the least.
