The Birth Machine is a sculpture by H.R. Giger that addresses the issue of the approaching overpopulation of the planet. In 2013 we worked with Giger’s agent, Leslie Barany, to produce a high-quality 360º product scan of the soon to be released Birth Machine Baby Head Ring. We have since created 360º Scans of the full H.R. Giger Jewellery collection.

Twinpictures designed and built cosmetic GMP, an online training program for BDF Beiersdorf to verify that all the international hubs where being trained and tested on Good Manufacturing Practices. The program consisted of 12 GMP training modules with activities, testing and student tracking. Built in Flash/AS3, the program was delivered as SCORM 2004 modules using the internal BDF SharePoint platform.
Sign-language, like all languages, contains an extensive vocabulary. This interactive video lexicon provides a first impression of German sign language. With the Olympus Video Lexicon, 32 words from four different areas are introduced and then used in a sentence.
This online training program was created for Dialogue Social Enterprise, a well-known international social enterprise that organises exhibitions and workshops such as Dialogue in the Dark and Dialogue in Silence to break down the barriers between disabled and non-disabled people. In this context, the video lexicon was translated into several languages and presented at various Dialogue in Silence exhibitions and museums worldwide.

3D Skycrane animation for blowUP Media. The Skycrane is a cube-shaped, rear-lit advertising framework specially designed to fit around high construction cranes. Precision 3D models of various dental implants, modeled and rendered using Blender. The models where designed based on .dxf files of the original engineering blueprints exported from AutoCad. The final renders where composited in Photoshop and then sent to Die-Zwillinge for the creation of the OSSA-dent brochure.
3D graphic of chainsaw torn metal created and rendered in Blender for use in a custom automobile wrap for Die Zwillinge client Faraguna Stihl. The final image was composited in Photoshop, then digitally printed on the car wrap media. Car wrap was installed by the skilled hands of master werbetechnik Guido Schultz one of the Die Zwillinge (that means ‘the twins’ in German…but you probably already knew that.)
